To all residents of the City of Hudson NY, be it known that on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 5:00 PM, the City of Hudson will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 520 Warren St., Hudson, NY relative to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding application opportunities. NYS DHCR, Office of Community Renewal, administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the State of New York. The NYS CDBG program provides financial assistance to eligible cities, villages and town in order to develop viable communities by providing decent, affordable housing, and suitable living environments, as well as expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income. The purpose of the hearing is to give citizens an opportunity to discuss proposed activities relative to the City's request for $600,000 under the Public Infrastructure element to undertake sewer separation activities in the area of State Street and Columbia Street.
