Issues-Hunting & Fishing Licenses, Dog Licenses, Marriage Licenses, Solicitor and Peddler Licenses; Handicap Parking Permits, Municipal Parking Lot Permits, Tradesman Parking Permits.
Bingo & Games of Chance Licenses
Keeper of City Seal for Certifying Records
Administer and record Oaths of Office
Files Contracts, Leases and Deeds
 

CLERK OF COMMON COUNCIL: Attend meetings of Common Council, prepare agendas, compile minutes of meetings.
 

REGISTRAR OF VITAL STATISTICS:
File Birth, Death and Marriage Records for the City of Hudson which date back to May 1881.
Issue certified copies of Birth and Death and Marriage Records
ID required for applicant.

Fee: $10.00
 

Marriage Licenses may be obtained at any Town or City Clerk's Office in New York State. The Fee is $40.00
Both parties must appear before the Clerk and complete an Affidavit. Supply two types of ID (Birth Certificate/Baptisimal Record required)

and either a Driver's License/Passport, Employers ID, Military ID)
If there were previous marriages by a divorce(s) a copy or copies of all judgments of the Divorce(s) must be provided at the time of application.
The marriage license is issued immediaetly, however the marriage ceremony may not take place within twenty four hours from exact time that the license was issued. The license is valid for sixty days from the date of issuance.
