Revaluation and Property Assessment Project
The City of Hudson has adopted a resolution to revalue all properties within the City in an effort to create fair and equitable property assessments for the 2019 tax roll.
The goal of this project is to create fair and equitable property assessments at 100% of full market value.
The intent of the City is to work with the community in achieving this goal.
Beginning in mid-March, the assessment staff will be reviewing all properties within the City of Hudson. Staff will be performing an exterior inspection on each property. Staff will be walking around properties, inspecting the exterior, and using devices to assist them such as laser pointers, cameras, and measuring wheels.
All staff will have proper identification on them during field work. The City Assessment Office and local police agencies will have a vehicle list of all project staff members to ensure your safety. This project will continue through the end of September.
Please visit the City of Hudson Assessor's Page for an informative video for more information.
Also please note that the Assessor will present more information at the Common Council Meeting on April 17th at 7 PM.
