Effective Communication
The City of Hudson will generally, upon request, provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services where necessary to afford persons with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in, and enjoy the benefits of, City programs, services, and activities. Auxiliary aids and services may include qualified sign language interpreters, documents in Braille, and other ways of making information and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments.To request an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a City program, service, or activity, contact ADA Coordinator Michael Chameides as soon as possible but ideally at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled event.

Service Animals
Individuals with service animals are welcomed in City offices, even where pets are generally prohibited.ADA Grievance

The ADA Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Hudson’s efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under the ADA, including investigation of ADA-related complaints, and the implementation of the Settlement Agreement between the United States of America and the City of Hudson executed on October 23, 2019.
